Marqués de Montañana Garnacha
Fermentation & Ageing:
Marques de Montañana is made from ancient low bush vines planted in the D.O. Calatayud high in the mountains of Northern Spain between Madrid and Zaragoza. After a careful selection of the Garnacha grapes proceeding from 50 year-old bush vines, the grapes were destalked and crushed. The fermentation took place for 15 days at a maximum temperature of 28ºC. After the fermentation in concrete vats, the wine had an extended maceration for 2 weeks. The must was pressed. Once the malolactic fermentation was finished the wine was racked.
Packed in cases of 6 and 12 bottles.
Grape variety: Garnacha (AKA: Grenache)

Winemaker's notes:
Intense and extrovert bouquet. Its palate shows exuberant concentrated berry flavours and a touch of spiciness.
