Since the introduction of the Zumaya wines, we have been focusing on outstanding wines with an excellent quality-price ratio.

The Zumaya project is born out of the idea to create a new concept for wines from the DO Ribera del Duero; aiming for elegant and complex wines, which are fruity, smooth and easy to drink.​

In addition to a new style of wine, we created a new and innovative label with the aim of a better and clearer message for the consumer. 'Zumaya' is the name given to the small owl that lives amongst the vineyards of our winery which is called 'Finca El Carpio'.​​​

Since its conception, this project has been controlled with extreme care, a care just as meticulous as the small owl that lives in
DO Ribera del Duero.​
 

These highly expressive wines are made with fruit from vineyards over 25 years old. ZUMAYA wines are made up of 100% Tempranillo (Tinto Fino), the outstanding grape variety in this region. The fruit from 25-50 year old vines is harvested manually and carefully selected to produce complex wines full of colour, aroma and ripe fruit.
