Burgos Cathedral
The Burgos Cathedral is a Catholic temple dedicated to Virgin Mary, situated in the city of Burgos. Constructed in 1221, following the Frech gothic patterns, it has many architectonic, sculptural and pictorial treasures.
The Burgos Cathedral was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO the 31st of October of 1984, and it’s the unique Spanish cathedral that has this distinction in a independent manner, without being united to the historic downtown or other buildings.
